Why We Dream?

Why do we dream?

It is almost always - something bad - something i fear - something that i wish were not true

It makes me experience feelings that I have never felt, and possibly never will.

It is a tool for empathy, an ability to experience it, but also dismiss it as powerful as it came.

An interesting conversation with my parents. My mother worrying about kids, class, and same as before. She had dream about me throwing a book and saying i published it. I told her it would happen. She experienced it in a dream.
